ABC made the right choice in announcing Ali Fedotowsky as the next Bachelorette on The Bachelor finale.
It will help fans of the show who have a hard time understanding Jake Pavelka’s proposal to Vienna Girardi (the bling is a Neil Lane diamond and platinum ring). If his family came around to accepting her, hopefully his fans will too.
Ali’s return as the next Bachelorette is not surprising as she was a fan favorite. To give her credit, she did bury the hatchet with Vienna before the announcement which was a smart move. Now fans of the dating show franchise can focus exclusively on her journey for the perfect man.
What’s still unknown is Ali’s commitment to work. Will Facebook give her a leave of absence to pursue the man of her dreams? Or, is she planning on leaving the company? (Ali revealed that she quit her job at Facebook on the Jimmy Kimmel show; here’s the video in two parts: Part 1, Part 2).
If you’re a fashion fan of The Bachelorette, Ali is worth watching. Her style is fun and flirty so the show’s stylist, Cary Fettman, should have a great time finding choices for her, much as he did for Jillian Harris (Ali recently met with Cary to try out a dress for the season premiere). The show starts on Monday, May 24.
