The crowd that attended the Fifth Annual Loews Coronado Bay Resort Surf Dog Competition discovered the surfing phenomenon in person when over 50 dogs hit the water at Imperial Beach, California.
The competition included three different heats: small dogs, large dogs, and tandem (Bobby Gorgeous the Pomeranian pictured above competed in the small dogs category).
Dogs had 10 minutes to prove their skills while judges evaluated the length of their ride, their confidence, and whether they could “grip and rip.

Canadian Men Rock the Bachelorette

The three hopefuls include 27-year-old Chris Hasek, a real estate developer from Vancouver; 34-year old Craig McKinnon, a dental sales representative from Sarnia; and 26-year-old Justin Rego, an entertainment wrestler from Toronto. Fans Want to See More of Carol Burnett
Even though close to 100,000 people have joined a Facebook campaign to bring Carol Burnett to Saturday Night Live, the comedienne recently admitted to Zap2it that she has other shows she’d rather do.
After Betty White’s record setting appearance on SNL, Facebook fans came up with Carol Burnett as the next TV icon to sign as host. Burnett doesn’t see it that way, though: “No one can top Betty. Why even try to be an imitator? You just can’t.”
That doesn’t mean you won’t see Burnett on any of the hottest shows next season. The comedy legend would love to guest star on Glee, especially if she has a few scenes with Jane Lynch.
She also told the site she’d be happy to join Tina Fey and the cast of NBC sitcom 30 Rock. Any appearance by Carol Burnett would make us glad to have some time together.
