Winners on the Red Carpet
Last night’s Golden Globes were full of surprises.
One of the highlights was Paul Giamatti’s win for Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical (we loved his shout out to Canada and Montreal).
Red carpet style focused on glamour (with many versions of the up-do) but there were a few new looks like Sandra Bullocks‘ fringy hair with heavy bangs. Olivia Wilde also rocked a straight hair look with side bangs.
These three stars showed off some of the best makeup looks:
- Natalie Portman–Her pale pink Viktor & Rolf dress with a red Swarovski rose may get mixed reviews, but Best Actress Winner Natalie Portman wore flawless makeup. Her dramatic red lips stood out against soft pink cheeks and neutral-colored eye shadow.
- Kelly Obsborne–To match a striking one-shoulder black and white gown by Zac Posen, Kelly Osborne went for glamour with a dramatic smoky eye, heavy lashes, and peach lips.
- Amy Adams–It’s not always easy for gingers to look glamorous but Amy Adams made it work in a teal Marchesa gown. The color of her gown played up her blue eyes which were highlighted with taupe shadow and dark eyeliner. Soft raspberry pink lipstick worked well with her hair which was loosely pulled back.
Update: Natalie Portman also had award-winning makeup at the SAG Awards which was created using Dior products like Dior Capture Totale High Definition Serum Foundation and Dior Addict High Shine Lipstick. Check out all the details here courtesy of BellaSugar.
