Chic Princess-Style Jewelry

Although her lacy white wedding dress by Sarah Burton provoked swoons, Princess Kate Middleton’s wedding accessories were the perfect side-show for her wedding ensemble.

For “something borrowed,” Kate Middleton wore a Cartier “Halo” tiara lent to her by Queen Elizabeth II.

The tiara was purchased by the Duke of York, later King George VI, for his duchess, who later became the Queen Mother Elizabeth. The Queen Mother gave the tiara to the current Queen Elizabeth on the queen’s 18th birthday.

Princess-in Waiting’s Locks to Get Royal Treatment

If you’ve ever dreamed of having a crew of stylists obsess with your hair, you’ll have to start looking for a bachelor prince to propose marriage.

For her April wedding, Kate Middleton will have six hair stylists tending to her royal ‘do.

The team will be lead by James Pryce and Richard Ward, who are longtime royal hairdressers.

Pryce currently charges £88 for a cut and blow dry (that’s approximately $140 Canadian).

The two hairdressers will also have four senior stylists to lend them a hand as they work with Kate and her bridesmaids to create the perfect look.

According to the Daily Mail, Kate has definitely chosen how her hair will look on her special day. She’s already done a practice session (smart girl!) and is very happy with the results. Bets were on that she would opt for a half-up, half-down style but a recent rumour at her salon suggests she’ll be wearing her chestnut locks 100 per cent down and flowy.

Food Show is Replacing Beloved Soap Opera

Although I haven’t always been a faithful watcher of All My Children or One Life To Live, I understand Kelly Ripa’s emotional reaction to their recent cancellation.

Like many soap fans, my biggest fear is that the grim TV reaper will soon be visiting all soap opera sets, even the highly rated The Young and the Restless, as the TV genre continues to fall off a cliff.

The question is how do you feel about more food TV?
