What’s Your Santa Wish List?
The clock is ticking so here’s my ultimate wish list for the holiday season.
Yes, some of these are pricey luxury items, but this is a wish list after all.
Here are the items on my wish list (from left to right).
CoverGirl & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation
Who doesn’t love a 2-in-1 product? CoverGirl & Olay have joined forces to combine a foundation and serum that covers fine lines and wrinkles and helps improve skin tone. This foundation targets tone discoloration while providing even coverage for a polished look.
OK, I love the iPad but I’m still curious about a 7″ Android-powered tablet that instantly links you up with a gazillion movies, magazines, books, and beauty apps. You also get fast web browsing with Amazon Silk and free cloud storage for your Amazon content. Hope it comes to Canada, soon!
Coach Poppy Liquid Gloss Hippie Bag
I’m loving Coach’s Poppy line, especially this silver/grey crossbody bag that combines diamond quilting with the opulent look of lacquer. The double flap pockets are also heritage elements that are borrowed from the Coach archives.
Maybelline Baby Lips
With the latest in lip balm technology, your lippies will get 8-hour hydration and visibly renewed lips in 4 weeks. The secret is a lip renew formula with Vitamin C, E, and B5 and SPF 20. The lip balm comes in 6 moisturizing shades with four having a touch of color (each retails for $4.99). According to the folks at BeautyCrazed, Cherry Me (red) and Pink Punch (pink) have the most pigment.
I’m figuring if I wear this Prada fragrance scented like candy, maybe I’ll eat less of the bad stuff over the holidays. Wishful thinking (again), but this caramel-scented perfume also has warm notes of white musk for a touch of elegance.
One Final Wish
On a serious note, I wish for more progress in the fight against pancreatic cancer. My beautiful mother lost her battle this year (as did Steve Jobs and many others). If you’d like to help the research effort for this silent and deadly cancer, please consider making a donation:
- In the US, the Lustgarten Foundation ensures that 100% of every donation goes directly to pancreatic cancer research.
- In Canada, the Pancreatic Cancer Canada Foundation supports early detection, effective treatments, and ultimately, finding a cure.
May all your holiday wishes come true!
