Some stars, like Emma Stone, opted for classic smoky eyes at this year’s Golden Globes, but a neutral makeup theme showed off the natural beauty of many of this year’s red carpet crowd.
Leaving her Glee look behind, Lea wore an antique embroidered dress from Marchesa. Her striking eyes were luminous in layered colors (Lancome 5 Color Palette in Gris Fatale). In contrast, Lea wore a subtle neutral on her lips in a matte finish (Lancome L’Absolu Rouge in Rich Cashmere).
Another standout was Charlize Theron who caught everyone off guard with a Cartier vintage headband. Her makeup was by Dior including a spring inspired eyeshadow palette (Dior ‘5 Couleurs – Garden Party Garden Roses) containing pink, violet and silver, and purple shades. Charlize’s thereal look also featured a blush tone lipstick (Rouge Dior Lipcolor in Tulip Pink) finished with neutral beige lip gloss (Dior Addict Ultra Gloss in Beige Tweed).
Finally, Kate Beckinsale walked the red carpet in a strapless Roberto Cavalli gown. Kate’s cheekbones were highlighted with a shimmery neutral gold (Nars Highlighting Blush in Miss Liberty). Her eyes were accentuated with gold and brown, while a high-shine nude lip completed the look.
