Just mix together 2 teaspoons of cooked pumpkin puree, 1/2 teaspoon of honey, and 1/4 teaspoon of regular or soy milk. Leave the mask on for five to ten minutes, then wash it off with lukewarm water. Christina Hendricks, who plays office bombshell Joan Holloway Harris on Mad Men, married Geoffrey Arend in New York this weekend. The couple met earlier this year when they were introduced by Vincent Kartheiser, who plays Pete Campbell on the series.
The bride wore an ivory fils coupe Carolina Herrera gown with a sweetheart neckline. In July, Christina told people.com: “It was the first dress I tried on, and it was magnificent.” Accessories included red satin shoes and gold deco earrings with pearls.
We’re hoping that Christina Hendricks has been busy with her wedding, and that’s the reason why the stylish Joan has not been featured heavily in this season’s episodes of Mad Men. Although it was fun seeing Joan wheel and deal with Pete Campbell as manager of a woman’s department at Bonwit Teller, the best scenario involves Joan returning to work at Sterling Cooper.

Babes for Breasts raises funds for cancer research and families affected by cancer
If you want to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month and check out some great music at the same time, why not attend one of the Babes for Breasts 2009 shows being held across Canada. Each show is a celebration of music with some of the country’s most talented female musicians performing original songs and sharing stories together on stage.
The remaining shows for this year’s tour include stops in the Prairies and Western Canada from Winnipeg to Vancouver with two shows in Yellowknife at the end of the month. Proceeds for each show go to local or national cancer organizations to support breast cancer patients from diagnosis to remission and beyond.

Blondes take longer to get ready
Do blondes really have more fun? A recent study by Goody Products® reported by the Telegraph found that blondes take up to six more minutes per day (72 minutes versus 66 minutes) to get ready. The study of 3,000 women also discovered that the average blonde has a better social life, going out three times a month, compared to twice a month for brunettes.
What does this have to do with having fun? The theory is that if you spend more time grooming, you’ll feel better about yourself. According to Rose-Marie Jarvis of Goody: ”Interestingly, we found that often it’s the time spent on getting ready that gives women a confidence boost – which would explain why blondes are thought to have more fun.”

Patrick Swayze mamboed his way into our hearts in Dirty Dancing, but lost a brave two-year fight against pancreatic cancer today at the age of 57.
He’ll be remembered mostly for his romantic lead roles in Dirty Dancing and Ghost, in which he was able to maintain a strong male presence. Even though he had great success in the romance genre, he was still able to move on to hard hitting dramas like Point Break and Road House.
His last role was on the A&E televsion series, The Beast, which was filmed despite his cancer diagnosis and treatment.
About Pancreatic Cancer
Pancreatic cancer is the abnormal growth of cells in the pancreas that results in a tumor. While pancreatic cancer is not as common as other forms of cancer, it can be considered one of the most deadly because it spreads rapidly and is often not diagnosed until it is in later stages when few treatment options exist.
