Three Men’s Fragrances from LACOSTE
LACOSTE is introducing its first fragrance collection for men with a big bang.
In collaboration with the New York design firm Tronic, LACOSTE has created LA MACHINE L.12.12, a mechanical and virtual installation at New York’s Grand Central Terminal.
The installation, which aims to highlight how the creative process works, will show the transformation of the LACOSTE polo shirt (the inspiration for the collection) to a fragrance mechanically and visually, using special user-generated videos.
Four Products for an Eye-Catching Look
I was in Sephora recently to replace my tube of Buxom Lash.
Lucky me, I found the mascara is part of the four-piece Hot Ticket kit.
Not only is this kit a great value, it has four products that you’ll likely be using on a regular basis (check out Sephora’s blog for four steps to getting the Hot Ticket look).
A Blend of Sweet Florals
If you weren’t able to travel to Paris in springtime (or summer), that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy one of the most romantic spots for lovers right now (or any time of the year).
The latest collection from Bath & Body Works lets you relive Paris memories whatever side of the globe you’re on.
The Paris Amour collection comes in packaging with the classic sights of the City of Lights like the Eiffel tower and the banks of the Seine river.
Get Inspired With Three Works of Arts
If you love wearing powder-based makeup but have been looking for something with an edge, MAC has the perfect collection coming up for you.
The Art of Powder line includes three MAC Artist Powders, inspired by the masters and modern art movements.
A lot of people are cutting back on sugar these days (I’ve been checking out this book for how to accomplish this as painlessly as possible).
Some sugar, though, isn’t bad for you.
Like the plant-derived sugar found in Vichy Lifactiv Nuit with Rhamnose Extract, which is clinically proven to rejuvenate your skin at the source.
In a 5% concentration, Rhamnose (from flowering Brazilian trees like Betula pendula) can also improve collagen production, elastic production, and cellular turnover.
Secret Weapon for Covering Undereye Imperfections
After this week’s market volatility, you may want to head to your local discount retailer for your latest beauty splurge.
Hard Candy Undercover Agent Undereye Brightener And Concealer Duo ($6) combines a concealer to hide imperfections with a brightener that reduces dark circles and puffiness.
The twofer comes in a tube with the concealer sitting on the top under a see-through cap. Shaped a bit wider than most cover sticks, this undereye concealer blends easily into the undereye area.
If you’ve become a tired warrior in the fight against insomnia, you’re probably game for any innovation that will help you drift off to sleep.
After all, sleep is nature’s most powerful beauty treatment (check out these seven beauty benefits of sleep).
The latest sleep aid to hit the shelves is pillow spray.
The theory behind this sleep savior is that a light mist infused with comforting aromas will soothe the mind and soul leading to a peaceful serenity that encourages sleep.
Here are two relaxing sprays that can help you get your beauty sleep.
If you’re hooked on lip gloss but ready to move on to color with more staying power, you may want to check out Maybelline’s latest entry for their Color Sensational collection.
Color Sensational High Shine has a creamy formula with a weightless, balm-like texture. The creamier feel is due to nourishing honey nectar that moisturizes and soothes your lips.
Are You a Joan or a Peggy?
Mad Men may have been off the air for almost a year, but that hasn’t stopped fans from wanting to recreate the vintage looks of leading characters like Joan Harris and Don Draper.
The Mad Men collection, available in Banana Republic stores and online starting this month, includes 65 items created as a contemporary collaboration between the store and Janie Bryant, Mad Men’s costume designer. Bryant also has designed another line of 60s-inspired clothing (called Mod) for QVC and The Shopping Channel.
Soy versions of favorite foods are showing up in just about every aisle in the supermarket from Soy coffee creamer to shredded Soy cheese.
With SPACASSOLICIOUS Nail Lacquers, you can now apply soy-based lacquer to your nails.
Not only is this nail product eco-friendly, the organic soy formula is also good for your nails because it moisturizes and nourishes with Vitamins A and E. This helps to eliminate breakage and keeps the nail from drying out. Free from harsh chemical odors, the nail lacquer can still be removed with the nail polish remover of your choice.
