Will These Hair Products Rescue Your Damaged Hair?

Help for Hair Breakage

I’ve noticed a few new hair care products lately that target damaged hair, probably because more than a few hair strands have been falling from my highlighted hair lately.

Here are some of the new collections for distressed hair (also check out the alternative hair brushing technique below that has slowed down my hair shredding).

Fructis Fall Fight

The Fructis Fall Fight line features a formula enriched with caffeine and biotin. This line is designed to strengthen your hair from root to tip and help prevent falling hair caused by breakage. It includes  a shampoo, conditioner, and anti-breakage spray which I tried with moderate success. According to Garnier, this spray will save up to 1500 strands per month.

Ojon Damage Reverse Kit

If you blow-dry your hair or color process it, these products with pure Ojon oil will make your hair less prone to breakage. This kit from Sephora includes:

– Damage Reverse™ Restorative Shampoo
– Damage Reverse™ Restorative Conditioner
– Damage Reverse™ Restorative Finishing Spray

Head & Shoulders Damage Rescue

OK, some hair care snobs will never use Head & Shoulders. If you suffer from an itchy or dry scalp, you may want to try their new line. The Head & Shoulders Damage Rescue collection, which is available in shampoo or conditioner format, improves hair and scalp health and leaves hair strong against damage.

If you have trouble believing Head & Shoulders can help your hair, check out Pittsburgh Steeler’s safety, Troy Polamalu, whose hair been insured for $1 million by Head and Shoulders.

Hair Brushing Technique

I tried this technique and can’t believe how well it works:

  1. Flip your head over and use a boar’s bristle brush to brush all of your hair, making sure not to put pressure on the scalp.
  2. Flip back over and brush it all down.

You’ll notice that little or no hair comes out as you brush your hair in place.

thnx for the info, I use another good product for my hair, it’s argan oil from pro naturals and like vivienne said it’s really good for making the hair healthy again. 🙂

Great looking tips and products, thanks! I use pro naturals argan oil myself for damage repair, it’s really moisturizing.
