Clinique 16 Shades of Beige Collection

Breaking makeup news! The neutral makeup trend is alive and strong for 2014.

The best way to get there right now is with Clinique’s ultimate neutral collection with wearable makeup and nail shades that easily create a stunning natural look.

The 16 Shades of Beige Collectionย is a new collection of eye shadows and nail enamels in universally flattering shades for every complexion. The collection includes the All About Shadow Neutral Territory eight shade palette and eight limited edition A Different Nail Enamel for Sensitive Skins shades.

I love the high-density pigmentation and colour payoff that Clinique shadows offer so I can’t wait to try these neutral shadows alone or layered for a smoky statement in an understated way. The lighter shades can be used for highlighting, while the darker shades can be used for shading and lining the eyes.

If you haven’t tried neutral nail shades before, Clinique recommends selecting the shade closest to your skinโ€™s tone to help visibly elongate and lengthen the look of your fingers (that sounds like a dream for my little fingers). Or, you can try any of the 8 shades that minimize skin sensitivity from light to dark to make a neutral statement.

The eight nail shades are:

  • Room Service (off white)
  • Peek a Boo I See You (nude peach)
  • Birthday Suit (neutral beige)
  • Pajama Party (pinky beige–my fave!)
  • Tickle Me (red-based beige)
  • Do Not Disturb (brown-based beige)
  • Chocolate on my Pillow (warm brown)
  • Nighty-Night (dark cocoa)

The 16 Shades of Beige Collection is available at Clinique counters and online at
