At Home Face Peel With Just Three Ingredients

At Home Face Peel

I’ve always wanted to try a face peel, but I’ve heard of and seen the horrors. What sticks in my mind is the SATC episode where Samantha Jones gets a chemical peel on a whim and the results aren’t pretty.

Dr. Anthony Youn recently appeared on the Rachael Ray show in a segment describing foods in your fridge that could combat the signs of aging.

Combining just three ingredients can give you a great at home face peel that exfoliates, tightens skin, and improve fine lines. I’ve tried the peel a few times and love the after glow. This peel with fruit acids has instant and long-term effects if you use it at least once (or twice) a week.

At Home Chemical Peel Recipe

  • 2 tbsp. milk (lactic acid)
  • 2 tbsp. apple juice (malic acid)
  • Egg whites from large egg (albumen)

  1. Whip the mixture really well so no chunks of egg whites are left.
  2. Apply the peel to your skin to create gentle exfoliation (I also apply it to my hands and chest.)
  3. Leave the peel on for 20 minutes until it’s dry and let the glow begin.
