New Clinique Masks

Just in time for summer, Clinique is introducing two new masks: one to deep cleanse and the other to brighten skin for an all-around glow.

Like all of Clinique’s masks, these masks feature super-charged ingredients to complement any regular skin care regimen.

They’re also 100% fragrance free which is important since fragrance is the most common cause of skin irritation which can be aggravated during warmer weather.

Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Deep Cleansing Charcoal Mask

This deep cleansing mask features a blend of clays and charcoal powder to instantly mattify and detoxify the skin of dirt and impurities.

But don’t worry about it stripping your skin. The mask is specifically designed to be gentle with a formula that balances oil-absorbing clays and charcoal powder with hyaluronic acid to prevent potential dryness.

Here are the key ingredients in the mask:

  • Charcoal powder is derived from bamboo and acts like a magnet to draw out oils and environmental pollutants.
  • Montmorillonite is clay rich and helps draw out pore-cloggers to help minimize the appearance of pores.
  • Algae extract helps to keep oil from building up in pores and controls excess oil for virtually poreless skin.

Clinique Even Better Brightening Moisture Mask

This new moisturizing mask is an addition to the brand’s Even Better franchise. It revitalizes and intensely hydrates so that skin becomes more soft, smooth, and supple.

Here are the key ingredients in the mask:

  • Glucosaminehelps to reveal more luminous skin.
  • Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract (Young Orange Extract) helps minimize irritation that can lead to darkening.
  • Licorice Extract helps to brighten and counteract dullness.

Both masks are available at Clinique counters nationwide and at beginning July 2015.
