During the winter, sunlight-deprived complexions often end up looking dull and sallow.
Although bronzing makeup makes more sense when we have more exposure to the sun, there’s no reason why you can’t warm up your skin with a hint of bronzer.
The trick is to not overdo bronzer in January to avoid an overdone faux tan. The best choice is a subtle, matte bronzer as an addition to rosy cheeks (wear powder blush to keep bronzer from looking too flat).
TIP: For a natural look, use a fluffy large brush to apply the bronzer and sweep it over your cheeks, chin, and forehead.
Here are some pale-busting bronzers to try:
- It Cosmetics Vitality Glow Anti-Aging Matte Bronzer: This is a matte bronzer but somehow it still gives off a healthy, looking glow. For contouring, the Heavenly Luxe Mega Fan #9 is amazing!
- Guerlain Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powder: This sheer bronzing mosaic powder lets you customize and build your bronze for a natural look all-year round.
- Too Faced Caribbean In A Compact – Snow Bunny: This compact with golden bronzer also has subdued shades of highlighter in pink, white, and nude.
