Should You Wear Bronzer in the Winter?

Winter Bronzer

During the winter, sunlight-deprived complexions often end up looking dull and sallow.

Although bronzing makeup makes more sense when we have more exposure to the sun, there’s no reason why you can’t warm up your skin with a hint of bronzer.

The trick is to not overdo bronzer in January to avoid an overdone faux tan. The best choice is a subtle, matte bronzer as an addition to rosy cheeks (wear powder blush to keep bronzer from looking too flat).

TIP: For a natural look, use a fluffy large brush to apply the bronzer and sweep it over your cheeks, chin, and forehead.

I wear bronzer year round. I usually go for a more neutral to slightly warm bronzer like the Benefit Hoola. Just to warm up the face a bit.

I really like Benefit Dandelion which I use as a blush. I’ll have to check out Benefit Hoola now.

I love adding a little bronzer in the winter! In fact, I probably wear it more often than in the summer!

Me too. I’m very pale so I can’t live without bronzer.
