For Pastel Lovers: Deborah Lippmann Sweets For My Sweet Set

Deborah Lippmann Sweets For My Sweet Set

One of the hot trends for this spring is the pastel look.

You may have noticed pastels on the Oscars red carpet with actresses like Cate Blanchett wearing a seafoam green Armani Privé
gown and Alicia Vikander embracing Louis Vuitton in buttercup yellow.

If you want to get a jump on pastels, Deborah Lippman has just launched a six-piece nail set with candy-inspired pastels.

The Sweets For My Sweet set covers all the yummy pastels everyone loves to see in the spring (and two of this year’s Sephora/Pantone colors: baby blue and pale pink).

The set contains:

  • Candy Girl (pastel pink cream)
  • All Day Sucker (pastel lavender cream)
  • My Boy Lollipop (pastel blue cream)
  • Sweet Pea (pastel green cream)
  • Lemon Drop (pastel yellow cream)
  • Sugar (pastel orange cream)

There’s more good news. The nail polish for these shades are formulated with biotin and green tea extract, so they’re long-lasting and dry quickly.

How to Apply

Pastels are a bit tricky to apply. Here’s the best way to use this nail polish:

  1. Apply a thin layer of base coat over clean nails before putting on color.
  2. Apply two thin coats of nail color, waiting two minutes for each coat to dry.
  3. Finish with a thin layer of top coat.
