Save Your Lips: tarte Rainforest of the Sea Quench Lip Rescue

tarte Rainforest of the Sea Quench Lip Rescue

Happy Monday beauties!

One of the biggest makeup launches to make a “splash” this spring is the tarte Rainforest of the Sea collection.

It definitely caught my eye not just because the packaging is so darn cute! It also hits the jackpot because it features skin-friendly products with healthy ingredients like algae and marine flowers.

Even though the weather is warming up, I’m not ready to give up using a moisturizing lip balm so I picked up the tarte Quench Lip Rescue in Opal.

This sheer balm hydrates and protects lips with a soft, subtle color in four shades:

  • Rose (coral pink)
  • Berry (deep red)
  • Nude (peachy pink)
  • Opal (pearly pink; shown in photo)

The formula has a blend of essential extracts and oils (like peppermint) to help restore lips’ softness. It also provides a protective antioxidant barrier against environmental aggressors (which are around every day of the year).

What I like the most about the Quench Lip Rescue is that it feels great on my lips and actually lasts longer than most lip balms, even though it provides a glossy finish.

I’ll definitely be wearing this lip balm on no makeup days or over lipsticks that have a similar tint.

I agree. For each shade of the lip balm, the packaging is also a different color.

Omg these looks so cute, I love the packaging. I’m visiting Canada soon so I’ll definitely be visiting Sephora to see if they’re stocking these! 🙂 xxx

I bought the Lip Rescue at a Sephora in the Vancouver area so they should be at other Canadian Sephora stores. The nude shade is really pretty too :).
