Handy Tips for Summer Nails

Happy Monday, beauties ❤️.

Want your nails to look amazing during the summer?

You can keep them looking good without giving up the things you love during the hot weather.

Just follow a few easy tips to get your fingers and toes in shape and ready for some well deserved attention.

1. Keep Them Short

Go for shorter nails to show off your manicure and all the trendy colors and textures of summer like Dior Vernis polka dots. Short nails are also less susceptible to chipping.

One of the most fashionable (and professional) shapes is called a squoval—a square with rounded edges. This shape mirrors your cuticle shape and usually requires less maintenance than a square shape.

2. Go For a Natural Look

Try a nude color for a natural look whether you’re spending time in the city or at the beach or lake.

Check out a new natural shade from the Sally Hansen Color Therapy line called Couple’s Massage launching soon.

3. Make Your Nail Polish Last

If you want your manicure to last, make sure to apply polish to clean, dry nails (oils, creams, and residue prevent paint from staying in place). Re-applying a top coat every few days can also help you go the distance.

If you’re in hurry, try a top coat like the Sally Hansen Color Therapy Top Coat with argan oil launching soon.

4. Switch to a Milder Dishwashing Liquid

Some cleaning products contain harsh chemicals that can weaken fingernails.

Consider switching to a dishwashing liquid with natural ingredients like Green WorksDishwashing Liquid which contains essential oils and coconut based cleaners.x
