Halloween Makeup Using Products You Already Own

Halloween Makeup

If you’re planning on creating a special makeup look for Halloween this year, you probably already own what you need to get the job done.

I took a look at my personal makeup stash to see if I can repurpose any items for a spooky Halloween look.

Here’s what I found. Boo!

Eyeliner

A thick eyeliner with a felt tip, like the Maybelline Master Precise Curvy Liquid Eyeliner, is your best friend for Halloween. With a pigmented black formula, it can help create different makeup looks such as:

  • Scary spider webs
  • Wicked winged cat eyes
  • Beguiled button noses

Mascara

If your costume is a Zombie princess (with a magic wand), you probably want to wear clumpy lashes.

Use your favorite mascara to bulk up your lashes. Remember to rotate the wand, so you can coat every lash.

If you’re lucky enough to have picked up the Maybelline The Colossal Spider Effect Mascara, it has cone-shaped bristles that help group lashes together.

Lips

Lip gloss can take Halloween makeup to the next level.

Bright, over the top shades like NYX Liquid Suede in orangey red can be used on both the lips and cheeks.

For a goth look, try a deep out of this world shade with a metallic finish like NYX Cosmic Metals Lip Cream in Asteroid Aura.

Glitter

Since glitter is becoming mainstream, you may already have some face or body glitter to add to your Halloween makeup.

Make sure to use a creamy primer like the NYX Glitter Primer to keep every sparkle in its place whether it’s highlighting your eyes, lips, or shoulders.

Are you using any products from your makeup stash this year? Let me know!

Have a safe Halloween! 🎃

Such a great post – Halloween can definitely be a super pricey time of the year, makeup-wise! I had to acquire glitter primer this year!
