What I’m Loving Lately: Fall Favorites

Fall Favorites

Hello beauties!

It’s the middle of November, and we’re well into the fall (and endless rain ☔️ in Vancouver).

Here are some of my favorites for this fall . . . and probably the winter ahead.

Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss

This plumping lip gloss from Dior was a splurge, but well worth it!

Besides the swish packaging, it’s a hydrating lip gloss that looks great alone or on top of your favorite lip color.

The brush applicator helps to deposit just the right dose, too. Check out more details here.

Clarins Boosters

This is a great time of year to give your skin a boost. Clarins recently introduced three booster solutions to personalize your skincare routine, depending on what your skin needs:

  • Repair–If your skin is red and dry (it needs healing), use this booster to reduce skin discomfort and optimize strength.
  • Detox–If your skin is dull and congested (from pollution, cigarette smoke, and other excesses), use this booster to revive radiance and detoxify skin.
  • Energy–If your skin is looking tired (after a long flight, or too much work or play), use this booster to revive and re-energize skin.

To use any of the booster solutions, mix 3-5 drops in your hand with your regular moisturizer, mask, or foundation (my favorite way to use a booster). Apply evenly on clean skin, starting in the center of the face then lightly pressing on drainage points.

Too Faced Love Flush

These mini blushes from Too Faced come from their festive Naughty Kisses & Sweet Cheeks holiday kit.

I’ve been having fun playing with these creamy, high-pigment shades with long-lasting color:

  • Crazy In Love (mauve)
  • Baby Love (pink)
  • Dream Lover (nude)

Tip: If you pick up this blush, remember that a little goes a long way.

e.l.f. Mad for Matte Eyeshadow Palette

I never get tired of eyeshadow palettes and this matte palette over performs for both everyday or bold looks. The palette has 10 matte shades that you can use as a liner, on the lid, or in the crease.

Of course, it doesn’t hurt that the e.l.f. palette is much cheaper than other “naked” palettes.

I’m an animal lover and support the local chapter of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals: BC SPCA. Throughout the year, BC SPCA sends goodies to supporters, like their annual calendar featuring local pets.

Last week, BC SPCA sent me puppy 🐶 and kitty 🐱 drink coasters, which are actually too cute to use. Thanks, BC SPCA!

I like the elf pallet. Great colours. How is elf pigment? UD has awesome pigment so it lasts a long time and is worth the $60.00. How much for the elf one?

The pigment is good for under $10. Using an eye primer also adds staying power.
