Bodycare Treats for the Summer πŸŒž

summer bodycare

Hi beauties!

It’s been so rainy in Vancouver this month, it’s hard to believe that summer is just around the corner.

To get a jumpstart on the hot weather, I’ve been trying out a few bodycare treats.

Bodycology Creamy Vanilla Collection

I’ve been a fan of vanilla-scented bodycare forever. I remember once at a work meeting, one of my co-workers blurted out: “I smell cookies.” Since I started to laugh, I had to confess it was my vanilla body lotion. πŸ˜†

The Bodycology Creamy Vanilla Collection features a light summer scent that combinesΒ fresh vanilla and creamy florals.

Bodycology Creamy Vanilla Moisturizing Body Wash

Whether you prefer a luxurious bath or warm shower in the summer, this body wash has an antioxidant and vitamin enriched formula that won’t dry you out:

  • For a bubble bath, drizzle the body wash under warm running water.
  • For showers, apply a small amount to hands or a sponge and lather over skin.
Bodycology Creamy Vanilla Moisturizing Body Cream

The body cream in this collection is a rich butter complex containing shea, cocoa and jojoba butters, vitamin E and aloe vera. For a reasonable price, this thick body cream provides good hydration to dry or rough areas.

Bodycology Creamy Vanilla Fragrance Mist

I like to lighten up with a fragrance mist in the summer because it’s less concentrated than perfume. The Bodycology Creamy Vanilla Fragrance Mist contains these notes:

  • Top notes: Tahitian vanilla & tiare flower
  • Middle notes: Fresh jasmine, cyclamen, and heliotrope
  • Dry notes: Amber, blonde woods, sandalwood, and cashmere musk

Lypsyl Yummy Sticks Lip Balm

Lypsyl lip balm has been around for over 100 years. Lypsyl Yummy Sticks are a fresh take on their lip balm, which most of us have used at one time or another to protect and soften dry lips.

The vegan formula in the Yummy Sticks contains shea butter and hydrogenated coconut oil for hydration. The formula is completely free of beeswax, preservatives, parabens, and palm oil. πŸ‘

I had a chance to try out these “yummy” flavors:

  • Passion Fruit & Chocolate
  • Sea Salt & Caramel
  • Sweet Mint & Basil

You can find Bodycology Creamy Vanilla products ($6.97 each) and Lypsyl Yummy Sticks ($1.49 each) at Walmart.

Good post! I wouldn’t mind if I smelled like cookies! Especially the chocolate chip kind!

Are you in Vancouver BC or Vancouver WA? I live right across from Vancouver WA!

Ah the Vancouver up north. Didn’t know you guys got copious amounts of rain like we did. Glad the Sun is back!

In fact, I am working on an article on why why people should visit BC.

We have so much rain!!! BC has a lot in common with Washington: beautiful landscape (oceans/beaches), a lot of outdoor activities, and amazing food. πŸ˜€

All the Bodycology products sound amazing. I’ve not tried Lypsyl lip balms before but that Passion Fruit & Chocolate flavour sounds delicious!
