BECCA Cosmetics Soft Light Blurring Setting Powder

7 Jul

Hi beauties!

I hope everyone is finding a way to cope with the summer heat. 🌞

What are your summer makeup/skin issues? For me, it’s always shine control.

One product that I’ve tried recently for oily summer skin is BECCA Soft Light Blurring Setting Powder.

What I like most about this setting powder is that it goes beyond a traditional setting powder. Here’s what this powder can do:

  • Act as a veil to blur imperfections
  • Set makeup with a subtle radiance
  • Add dimension while creating a natural-looking finish

If you’re wondering how this works, the micro-fine powder is infused with ceramic microspheres that scatter light to reduce the look of imperfections.

The powder comes in two shades: Natural Finish (golden tone) and Pink Haze, which is the shade I picked up. So far, I’m loving the vibrancy and brightening this shade adds to my complexion. A bonus is that you can use it to soften eye darkness, without cakiness that may accentuate fine lines and wrinkles.

To apply the setting powder, BECCA recommends using a kabuki brush for an even finish. I’ve found that a fan brush also works well (it also uses less of the powder, which is on the pricey side).

The powder also has versatility in that you can wear it on top of your foundation, underneath your foundation, or without any foundation.

It can also be applied throughout the day to refresh your look, in other words, to eliminate shine.

Have a great summer! 🏄🏻‍♀️🚣🏻‍♂️🧗‍♀️
