Ultimate Heat Digital Slim Straightener

21 May

Hi everyone!

How is spring going so far where you live? Here in Vancouver, we’ve had a bit of rain and some warm weather to tease us for the long, hot summer coming up.

I recently entered a giveaway on Instagram, and won a flat iron from Ultimate Heat! This company provides hair tools developed by a stylist, who wanted to ensure his clients could easily achieve salon styled hair at home.

The flat iron that I’ve been using to straighten my wavy hair has seen better days, so it was great timing to win the Ultimate Heat Pro Digital Slim flat iron.

So far, I’m very impressed with this lightweight iron with infrared heat and digital temperature control. First, I saw shine in my highlighted hair which has been absent for a long time. Next, it was very easy to maneuver the ceramic plates so I could create a smooth, frizz free look.

The digital temperature control unique to this flat iron is designed to eliminate heat fluctuations that compromise the health of hair. It includes three temperature settings that quickly heat up based on the texture of your hair:

  • Fine or thin
  • Wavy or curly (this is the setting I used)
  • Coarse or thick

The floating ceramic plates also allow for styling versatility. I typically wear my hair straight, but if I want to be creative I can create soft curls, flip my ends out, or flip my ends in.

Some other features of this appliance that make it a winner are a 60 minute auto shut off, a professional 9′ 360° swivel cord, and 110-240V dual voltage.

It comes in three colors: graphite (black), slate (grey), and cielo (aqua).

Thanks to Ultimate Heat for sending me the Digital Slim Pro flat iron. If you’re interested in a new flat iron or other hair tools, check out Ultimate Heat on Instagram for regular specials.

See you in the summer!
