I don’t know how beauty brands anticipate makeup trends so far in advance, but Clarins has been bang on so far.
Earlier this spring, I had a look at the Clarins Limited Edition Face Contouring Palette that features a more subtle way to contour.
Clarins’ eye makeup launches have also tapped into a couple of new trends: grey as an all-season neutral and multiple looks with eyeliner.
This iconic eyeshadow palette comes with easy-to-apply charcoal grey shades that are long-lasting and versatile (you can wear them dry or wet). The neutral range includes a white pearl, light grey, medium grey, and dark grey/black shade.
Enriched with mineral pigments, the formula contains carnauba powder to help make the eyeshadow comfortable to wear.
For a touch of luxury, the palette also comes in a signature red velvet sleeve with Clarins embossed on the front.
Like most writers (I work as a tech writer when I’m not blogging), I’ve always loved pens. ✒
When I saw Clarins 4-Colour Pen, it took me back to school days when everyone had to have a BIC ballpoint pen that let you switch to different colors.
Clarins is taking us down memory lane with a travel-friendly, mult-tasking makeup pen. Not only does the 4-Colour pen come with three shades for the eyes (blue, brown, black), it also includes a nude shade for lip contouring.
To use the pen, slide the colour you want to apply and twist the pen to lower the shade. The line that this pen creates is on the thick side, but it deposits the liner evenly. The colours work really nicely together. For example, you can apply black on the upper lid, and blue or brown on the lower lid for a more defined look.
If you love wearing eyeliner in different shades and hate sharpening or rough edges, this eyeliner is worth checking out. 💕
